ThermoGIS is an innovative geothermal information tool developed by TNO that provides users with an overview of key data from more than 10 possible underground aquifers. This tool can be used for exploration, policymaking and investments in renewable energy sources such as deep geothermal heat, which is produced in the Netherlands by pumping hot water of 45-120°C from permeable, water bearing aquifers at 1.5 to 4 km depth.
